PipeFabPRO is an Excel spreadsheet application 2007 (2010 compatible)
for the industrial piping and pipe fabrication industry: pipe designers, pipe fitters, welders, isometricians, spool drafters & checkers. It is a tool designed to make your work faster, easier & accurate: saving time, eliminating errors & reducing expenses. The suite of specialized calculators will provide precise dimensions
and cut lengths for all spool configurations, pipe sizes, schedules and bend radii; while the graphics and formula notes will
present a guide to pipe trades math. Forty calculators incorporating 485 formula results in each set. All worksheets are protected
to prevent unwanted changes to data. Green cells indicate dropdown menus.
Blue cells indicate manual input is required. Red cells indicate formula results. No allowance for gaps has been provided.
There are two complete sets included: SI (Metric) units & English (Imperial)
units.
CONTENTS INCLUDE: 1)Pipe properties 2) Type 1,2,3 & 4 elbow branch /dummy legs including
short radius, long radius,3D and 5D bends 3) socket weld elbow base support 4) 3 pc.
mitre dummy leg 5) tangent lengths for trimmed elbows and bends (any angle) with i/s & o/s arc length 6) stub on and stub in cut
back dimensions 7)
full size lateral, reducing lateral & true wye
layout 8) special offsets: offset elbows (or bends)less than 90 deg; greater than 90 deg; elbow w/ 90 degree
and less than
radius; elbow with 90 degree and greater than radius.
9) offsets: simple offset and 9 variations of rolling offset which will calculate bend angle and travel for SR, LR, 3D, or 5D bend
layouts 10) double angle rolling offsets, 9 variations, calculating three bend angles and two travel
lengths for SR, LR, 3D or 5D bend layouts 11) miters: 3pc., 4pc.,
5pc., with 1.5, 3 & 6xNPS radius 12) template development sheet (for reference)
TOTAL: 40 CALCULATORS WITH SOLUTIONS FOR
EVERY PIPE SIZE, SCHEDULE & RADIUS.
Match and
index functions are used in several files to obtain data from tables selected from dropdown boxes.
Notes are placed in many cells. Rest your pointer over the red triangle and comments are displayed.
